Convert Santander México statements to Excel or CSV
Santander México doesn't usually offer a spreadsheet export of a full estado de cuenta, and only a limited number of past months stays online in Santander Web or the app, so save the PDFs you need. BankConv converts them to Excel, CSV or Google Sheets. Expect deposits before withdrawals and a reference number on every line.

Do you need to convert at all?
Santander México usually provides the estado de cuenta as a PDF in Santander Web and the app. Business customers using Enlace can also get electronic statements as XML.
Movements online cover recent activity only, and the PDF is not a spreadsheet. Only a limited number of past months is usually available online, so download the ones you need.

What to know about Santander México PDFs
- Deposits before withdrawals
- The movements table usually lists Depósitos before Retiros, the reverse of many other banks. Check the column order when you map the CSV in your accounting software, so money in isn't imported as money out.
- A reference number on each line
- Movements usually carry a folio or reference number in its own column. Keep it as text so long numbers aren't turned into scientific notation in Excel.
- SPEI details on extra lines
- SPEI transfers often add lines under the description with the counterparty bank, reference and tracking key (clave de rastreo). Check that these joined the right movement instead of becoming new rows.
Converting a Santander México estado de cuenta
Santander México’s estado de cuenta normally comes as a text-based PDF. The first pages hold the account summary and notices; the movements table converts row for row, with amounts in pesos (MXN) using a decimal point.
- Download the PDF estados de cuenta from Santander Web or the app.
- Upload them to BankConv, up to 10 at a time.
- Check the rows, then export Excel or CSV.
What to check
The summary near the start of the statement lists the saldo anterior, total deposits, total withdrawals and saldo final. Use it to check the conversion yourself.
- Sum Depósitos and Retiros and compare them with the summary totals.
- Check that saldo anterior + depósitos − retiros = saldo final. With a saldo anterior of 18,420.50, the sample rows above end at 24,094.75.
- Confirm the Folio column stayed as text.
- Add the year to each date if your software needs it, and check statements that cross into January.
For another Mexican estado de cuenta, with two dates per movement, see BBVA México.

Can I import the result into CONTPAQi or Alegra?
BankConv exports CSV and Excel. CONTPAQi and Alegra can generally import bank movements from a spreadsheet file; map the date, description, depósito and retiro columns in their import screen.

Yes. Santander México renamed its online banking from SuperNet to Santander Web. Statements are still downloaded as PDF there.
