About BankConv

BankConv turns PDF bank statements into Excel, CSV and Google Sheets files. It exists because banks hand out statements as PDFs, while the people who need the numbers work in spreadsheets and accounting software.

Why it exists

Most banks let you download recent activity as a CSV, but only for a few months, and the format changes from bank to bank. For anything older, and for statements a client sends you, the PDF is often all there is.

Retyping those rows is slow and easy to get wrong. Copying from the PDF breaks columns, splits descriptions across lines and mixes up dates. BankConv reads the statement, keeps the columns the bank printed, and gives you rows you can check against the original and import.

Who uses it

Mostly bookkeepers and accountants catching up on client books, small business owners doing their own, people preparing tax returns or loan applications, and landlords tracking rent. Developers use the API to convert statements inside their own products.

How it is paid for

Customers pay for it. You can preview the first 5 pages of a statement free, then pay once for that document or subscribe if you convert statements every month. Prices are on the pricing page, the same for everyone.
