Convert Qonto statements to Excel or CSV
Qonto's own transaction export, in CSV or Excel, is usually the quickest route if you can log in. When all you have are PDF relevés (older ones, statements a client or accountant sent you, or an account you no longer access), BankConv turns them into Excel, CSV or Google Sheets with debits and credits in separate columns.
Updated
Download your Qonto relevé de compte
- 1.Log in to Qonto on the web.
- 2.Go to Business account, then Accounts, and click Download account statements.
- 3.Select the account (main account or a subaccount) and the month.
- 4.Download the PDF.
Do you need to convert at all?
Qonto's Transactions section lets Admin, Manager and Accountant users export transactions as CSV or Excel, as a simple export (a few columns) or a full one. Custom export templates are available on some plans.
You need a Qonto login with the right role. Account statements themselves are PDF only, one per month and per account, with no annual PDF.
Qonto export formats: CSV, Excel
What to know about Qonto PDFs
- The export and the relevé differ
- Qonto's simple export usually has only settlement date, counterparty and amount, while the relevé has debit and credit columns and the opening and closing balance. If someone asks for statements, send the PDF; if you need rows from a PDF, convert it.
- One relevé per account and month
- Each subaccount has its own monthly relevé. If you convert several accounts, keep them in separate files or add an account column, and exclude transfers between your own accounts.
- Language and number format
- A French-language relevé uses comma decimals and space thousands (4 812,50). Open the CSV with a French locale, or check that amounts are numbers before you sum them.
When converting a Qonto PDF helps
Qonto is a business account with good exports, so convert the PDF only when the export isn’t an option. Common cases:
- Files sent to you: an accountant or bookkeeper receives a client’s relevés as PDFs, with no access to the client’s Qonto.
- Older relevés: you saved monthly PDFs and need them as rows for a past year or an audit.
- Lost access: the account is closed, or you’ve left the company that holds it.
- Matching the statement: you need rows that match the official relevé exactly, with debit and credit split.
Upload up to 10 PDFs, check the rows, then export Excel or CSV.
Checking the result
The relevé shows the opening and closing balance for the month. Use them to check the conversion yourself.
- Check that opening balance + credits − debits = closing balance. With an opening balance of 12 450,00, the sample rows above give 17 739,70.
- Confirm every amount is a number, not text.
- For several months, check each one before you combine them.

Qonto statement questions
Should I use Qonto's export or convert the PDF?
If you have a Qonto login with export rights, use the export for day-to-day bookkeeping. Convert the PDF when the relevé is all you have, such as files a client or accountant sent you.
Can I get one Qonto statement for a whole year?
Qonto has no annual PDF. Download each monthly relevé and convert all 12 in BankConv in two batches, then combine them in one sheet.
Does BankConv connect to my Qonto account?
No. You upload the PDF yourself. BankConv never connects to a bank account and never asks for banking passwords, and files are deleted after 24 hours.
