Convert LCL statements to Excel or CSV
On LCL.fr or the LCL Mes Comptes app, the relevé de compte PDF sits in the Documents menu and reaches further back than LCL's operations download. BankConv converts the relevé to Excel, CSV or Google Sheets, and CB lines usually carry the purchase date in the label, which helps when matching receipts.
Updated
Download your LCL relevé de compte

Do you need to convert at all?
LCL's online banking usually lets you download recent operations for a date range, in a spreadsheet-friendly text format and, depending on your profile, formats for money software. Business customers have separate exports in LCL Espace Pro.
Operations history online usually goes back about two years, and the formats offered vary by account type. Relevés de compte stay available as PDF under Documents.

What to know about LCL PDFs
- French number format
- Amounts use a comma for decimals and a space for thousands (1 450,00). Open the CSV with a French locale, or check that converted amounts are numbers rather than text before you sum them.
- Operation date and value date
- Each line usually has the operation date and a separate value date (Valeur), both day and month without a year. Use the operation date for bookkeeping and add the year from the relevé period.
- No running balance
- The relevé usually shows an ancien solde at the top, totals at the bottom and a closing solde, but no balance on each line. Leave the solde and totals lines out of any sum.
Converting an LCL relevé de compte
LCL relevés are generally text-based PDFs, so each operation should map to one row. Card payments (CB lines) usually include the purchase date in the label, which helps when you match receipts.
- Download the PDF relevés from Documents on LCL.fr or in the app.
- Upload them to BankConv, up to 10 at a time.
- Check the rows, then export Excel or CSV.
Checking the result
The relevé has no balance on each line, so check with the solde lines and totals instead.
- Sum Débit and Crédit, leaving out the solde and totals lines, and compare with the totals at the bottom.
- Check that ancien solde + credits − debits = new solde. With an ancien solde of 2 106,35, the sample rows above give 3 404,16.
- Confirm every amount is a number, not text, and add the year to each date.
Most French accounting tools, such as Pennylane, Cegid or EBP, can import a bank CSV. If yours wants OFX, download OFX from BankConv instead of CSV. Other French banks are on the French banks page.

LCL statement questions
Can I download LCL operations as CSV?
For recent operations, usually yes, from your account on LCL.fr. For older months, or when you need the full relevé, download the PDF relevés de compte and convert them in BankConv.
How long are LCL relevés available online?
LCL says documents stay available for their own retention period, and you keep access to your history while you hold a deposit account there. Download and keep the PDFs you need.
Why are my LCL amounts text in Excel?
The relevé uses comma decimals and space separators. Open the CSV with a French locale, or replace commas with points and remove spaces before converting to numbers.
