Convert La Banque Postale statements to Excel or CSV
La Banque Postale's operations download covers recent history only, so for older months use the e-relevés in Documents & Suivi of your Espace Client. Each e-relevé covers your compte courant (CCP) and BankConv converts it to Excel, CSV or Google Sheets; savings accounts have their own relevés.
Updated
Download your La Banque Postale relevé de compte (e-relevé)
- 1.Log in to your Espace Client on labanquepostale.fr or the La Banque Postale app.
- 2.Go to Documents & Suivi, then Relevés et documents.
- 3.Find the relevé in your latest statements, or use the advanced search for older months.
- 4.Download the PDF.
Do you need to convert at all?
La Banque Postale usually lets you download the detail of recent operations from the account history (Télécharger le détail), in TSV, CSV or OFX.
The download covers the operations history shown online, not past statements. E-relevés are PDF and stay available for 10 rolling years, but only from the date you joined the e-relevé service.

What to know about La Banque Postale PDFs
- French number format
- Amounts use a comma for decimals and a space for thousands (1 820,00). Open the CSV with a French locale, or check that the converted amounts are numbers rather than text before you sum them.
- Paper-era months aren't online
- Relevés sent before you joined the e-relevé service aren't in your Espace Client. If you only have paper or scanned copies, scan them clearly to PDF; BankConv reads scans with OCR, and clean scans work best.
- Card payments carry two dates
- Card lines (ACHAT CB) usually show the purchase date inside the label, and the line date is when it was debited. Use the line date for bookkeeping and the label date to match receipts.
Converting a La Banque Postale relevé
E-relevés are usually text-based PDFs, with each operation on one row. The relevé covers your compte courant (CCP); savings accounts have their own relevés.
- Download the PDF e-relevés from Documents & Suivi.
- Upload them to BankConv, up to 10 at a time.
- Check the rows, then export Excel or CSV.
Checking the result
The relevé starts with an ancien solde and ends with totals and a nouveau solde, with no balance per line. Use those to check the result yourself.
- Sum Débit and Crédit, leaving out the solde and totals lines.
- Check that ancien solde + credits − debits = nouveau solde. With an ancien solde of 742,18, the sample rows above give 2 365,72.
- Confirm every amount is a number, and add the year to each date.
To import into Pennylane, Cegid or EBP, use their bank CSV import with the converted file and set the decimal separator to a comma.
Files are deleted after 24 hours; see security. Other French banks are on the French banks page.
