Convert Caisse d'Epargne statements to Excel or CSV
Caisse d'Epargne's Télécharger les opérations export already gives CSV, QIF or OFX for a period you choose. When you need the monthly relevé itself with its soldes, or the export isn't offered to you, download the PDF from Documents, then Consulter mes documents, and let BankConv convert it to Excel, CSV or Google Sheets.

Do you need to convert at all?
In the Caisse d'Epargne espace client web, the Gérer button on an account (or the link on the account detail screen) leads to Télécharger les opérations. You pick the format, the period and a ";" field separator. It needs the Fonctionnalités avancées setting switched on.
The help pages describe the export on the website only, for customers with the relevant online banking service; others are told to ask their adviser. They don't state how far back the period can go. Relevés stay in Documents for the legal archiving period, if you subscribe to e-Documents.

What to know about Caisse d'Epargne PDFs
- Gérer missing from the account
- If you can't see the Gérer button, Caisse d'Epargne says to switch on Fonctionnalités avancées, found under your name, then Autres réglages, on the website. Without it the operations export doesn't show, and the relevé PDF is the way to get your data out.
- Menus differ between caisses and contracts
- Caisse d'Epargne is a network of regional caisses within Groupe BPCE, and business customers use separate online banking, so menu names and labels may not match these steps exactly. Look for a Documents or e-Documents area holding your relevés de compte.
- French number format
- Amounts use a comma for decimals and a space for thousands (2 140,00). Open the CSV with a French locale, or check that converted amounts are numbers rather than text before you sum them.
- Dates without a year
- Operation dates usually print as day and month only. Add the year from the relevé period, and check rows on a December or January relevé.
Converting a Caisse d’Epargne relevé de compte
The relevés you download from Documents are usually text-based PDFs, so each operation converts to one row. Use them when the operations export isn’t offered on your contract, or when an accountant or lender wants the monthly statement itself. Card payments (CB lines) usually carry the purchase date in the label, which helps when you match receipts.
- Download the relevés from Documents, then Consulter mes documents, or from the app.
- Upload them to BankConv, up to 10 at a time.
- Check the rows, then export Excel or CSV.
Checking the result
The relevé usually has no balance on each line, so check with the solde lines and totals instead.
- Sum Débit and Crédit, leaving out the solde and totals lines, and compare with the totals at the bottom.
- Check that ancien solde + credits − debits = nouveau solde. With an ancien solde of 985,60, the sample rows above give 2 985,91.
- Confirm every amount is a number, not text, and add the year to each date.
Most French accounting tools, such as Pennylane, Cegid or EBP, can import a bank CSV. If yours wants OFX, download OFX from BankConv instead of CSV. Other French banks are on the French banks page.

Caisse d'Epargne statement questions
Can I download Caisse d'Epargne operations as CSV?
Yes, from the espace client web. Click Gérer on the account, then Télécharger les opérations, and choose Excel (.csv), the period and the ";" separator. If Gérer is missing, switch on Fonctionnalités avancées in your settings. When you need the full relevé, with its soldes, convert the PDF in BankConv.
How long are Caisse d'Epargne relevés available online?
Caisse d'Epargne says documents in e-Documents stay available for the legal archiving period. Some documents aren't available in digital form, so ask your adviser for those.
Why are my Caisse d'Epargne amounts text in Excel?
French files use comma decimals and space separators. Open the CSV with a French locale, or replace commas with points and remove spaces before converting to numbers.
