Convert BNP Paribas statements to Excel or CSV
BNP Paribas only lets you download recent operations, so older months have to come from the PDF relevés de compte in your online space. BankConv converts each relevé into Excel, CSV or Google Sheets with debit and credit split; check the number formatting and the solde lines afterwards.

Recent operations only. Past months are available as PDF relevés de compte.

What to know about BNP Paribas PDFs
- French number format
- Amounts use a comma for decimals and a space for thousands (for example 1 234,56). Set your spreadsheet locale to French, or check that converted amounts are real numbers and not text.
- Two dates per line
- Each operation usually has a date and a value date (Valeur). The value date is when the money counts for interest. For bookkeeping, most people use the first date and keep the value date as a reference.
- Debit and credit columns, with a solde at the start and end
- Operations are split into Débit and Crédit columns. The relevé opens with the previous balance (ancien solde) and closes with a total and the new balance (nouveau solde). Leave these lines out of any sum.
Converting a BNP Paribas relevé de compte
The monthly relevé is usually a text-based PDF, which means each operation lands on its own row. The things to check are number formatting and the solde lines.
- Download the PDF relevés for the months you need.
- Upload them to BankConv.
- Check the rows, then export Excel, CSV or Google Sheets.
Checking the result
The totals line at the bottom of the relevé gives you total debits and total credits for the month.
- Sum the Débit and Crédit columns, excluding the ancien and nouveau solde lines.
- Check that ancien solde + credits − debits = nouveau solde.
- Make sure every amount is a number, not text.
Accounting software in France often imports CSV or OFX. BankConv exports both, so pick OFX if your software prefers it; what OFX is explains the format. Files are deleted after 24 hours; see security.

BNP Paribas statement questions
Can I download BNP Paribas operations as CSV?
For recent operations, usually yes, from the account page. For older months, download the PDF relevés de compte and convert them in BankConv.
Why do my BNP Paribas amounts show up as text in Excel?
The relevé uses French formatting, with comma decimals and space separators. Open the CSV with the French locale, or replace the commas with points before converting text to numbers.
Does this work for BNP Paribas business accounts?
Yes. Business relevés use the same Débit and Crédit layout, often with more pages. BankConv reads the table on the page, so they convert the same way.
