Convert Banorte statements to Excel or CSV
Banorte Banco en Línea keeps about two years of estados de cuenta under Consultas, then Estado de Cuenta, and personal accounts get no spreadsheet export of them. That leaves the PDF, which BankConv converts to Excel, CSV or Google Sheets. Watch the column order, since Banorte prints deposits before withdrawals, and dates use a Spanish month.

Do you need to convert at all?
Banorte provides the estado de cuenta as a PDF, often with an XML fiscal file. Business clients on Banorte en su Empresa can usually export movements as XLS or TXT.
Banco en Línea shows estados de cuenta for about the last two years, with a size limit per download. Spreadsheet exports of movements are a business-banking feature.

What to know about Banorte PDFs
- Deposits come before withdrawals
- The movements table usually puts MONTO DEL DEPÓSITO before MONTO DEL RETIRO, the opposite of many banks. Check the column mapping when you import, or deposits can land as withdrawals.
- Dates with a Spanish month
- Dates usually look like 02-SEP-26, with the month abbreviated in Spanish (ENE, ABR, AGO, DIC). Excel set to English won't read them as dates, so convert them with a formula or find and replace.
- Long descriptions with references
- SPEI transfers and card purchases often carry a reference, RFC or clave de rastreo on extra lines under DESCRIPCIÓN / ESTABLECIMIENTO. Check that they stayed with the right movement.
Converting a Banorte estado de cuenta
Banorte’s estado de cuenta is usually a text-based PDF, and each movement in the Detalle de Movimientos table becomes one row, with amounts in pesos (MXN). Summary pages, notices and the fiscal section at the end are not movements, so they are left out of the rows.
- Save the PDF estados de cuenta from Banco en Línea or Banorte Móvil.
- Upload them to BankConv.
- Check the rows, then export Excel or CSV.
What to check
The summary at the top of the estado de cuenta gives the saldo inicial, total deposits, total withdrawals and saldo final.
- Sum both amount columns and compare them with the summary.
- Check that saldo inicial + depósitos − retiros = saldo final. With a saldo inicial of 9,820.50, the sample rows above end at 13,377.20.
- Convert Spanish month abbreviations into real dates.
For CONTPAQi or Alegra, import the CSV and map Monto del depósito to money in. Files are deleted after 24 hours; see security. Other Mexican banks are on the Mexican banks page.
